Today is my parent's 58th wedding anniversary. They are still going strong and laugh with each a lot...every day. They are two wonderful people and have been an unbelievable source of support for their seven children, twenty-three grandchildren and one great-grandson.
In The Mood is one of my father's favorite tunes. We have it played at every family wedding so we can all dance with him (well, all the girls do). So, as a shout-out to my parents - who never read this blog - I say Happy Anniversary! and here's to you both with love!

That is fabulous. I pray Ryan and I last 58 years and that we are as successful at marriage, child rearing and being true partners as Booka & RS...or Jack and Rita...if you aren't "in the know." :)
in the mood is one of one songs i know how to play on the piano. however, my brother can play it FAR better than i can, so i usually have memories of retiring the piano to him so he could show me off. i love this song.
58 years! that's something to celebrate! you better start planning the 60th right now!!!
58 YEARS! WOW! Having been married only 7 years, I can tell you that 58 is quite the accomplishment.
that's very impressive, and i say that as a married person who sometimes wonders how i've made it 58 days. what a wonderful thing to celebrate!
cograts to your mom & dad. thats awesome 58 years. now a days thats a huge accomplishment. i to hope shawn and i last that long we will be married 10 years in march so that makes it 48 more years. YIKES!!!!
as for the song "in the mood" had no idea what the name of the song was but when i listened to it, i knew what it was right away, i love that song also, i love watching our grandparent dance to this, they are the best dancers that generation.
